How Long Is Wichita Mayor Term?

The term of the Wichita Mayor is for four years. The Mayor is elected in a citywide election and serves as the presiding officer of the Wichita City Council. The Mayor’s duties include chairing council meetings, representing the city at official functions, and working with other local and regional officials to promote the economic and social development of the Wichita metropolitan area.
